What to Expect

Let’s be honest… checking out a new church or unknown community can be an uncomfortable thing. Will I fit in? Will I be welcomed? What should I wear? Is there anything for my kids? And what if the people are strange?! If you’re asking these questions, you’re not alone. These are all honest questions that many of us have asked. So here’s an honest attempt to answer them.

Comfortable and Safe

The Fellowship strives to have an atmosphere much like visiting an old friend or loved one. That means when you arrive you’ll be welcomed because we’re excited to see you. Don’t worry about attire—wear whatever is comfortable to you—after all, God looks at the heart not the style of your clothes.

Families

At The Fellowship our goal is to meet people where they are at on their spiritual journey. While we believe that worshipping together is a family experience, we also recognize the importance of ministering to each person in an age appropriate way. Therefore we work to offer unique ways for every one to hear the good news of Jesus Christ in accordance with their level of understanding.

If you have children (Pre-K through High School), we have age appropriate groups specially created to engage our youth and teens. Our teachers have amazing hearts to see your children come to know Jesus. You can trust that your child will be loved and protected.

God Centered, People Focused

At the center of The Fellowship is the desire to know God, His will, and discover our identity according to Him. We believe that our purpose is revealed within God’s mission of spreading His amazing grace. We spend time studying the scriptures, not just to gain head knowledge, but to be equipped to live out Christ’s call to follow Him.

Lastly, we believe that the church is the body of Christ made up of many different people called to live in relationship with God and in community with one another. So know that we place a strong emphasis on family and fellowship. Come ready to meet new people and to be welcomed as a person created to bear God’s image.
